Currrent Projects

I am undertaking a photo manipulation for the Squamish Nation.  They are in the planning stages of beautifying totem hall.  I am working with a Horticultralist and General Contractor to produce a series of images for the bosses to approve before they embark on this significant project.  Progress to date involved merging three sequenced photos to create one large landscape and then adding foliage from other photos taken.  See the progress below:

Some issues I am having with the images are quality of the different images. Some of the images are shot with a 2 megapixel camera on a dark and gloomy day while others have been uploaded to the internet, compressed and taken on different days. It is important that I match the tone of the images so it looks as real as possible.

The other issue I am working out is that there is a slope that needs to be populated with vegetation the comes to a landing the also needs to be populated. Establishing the slope and the hierarchy of is difficult to do with out the use of lines. I am addressing this issue by using images that have been taken on a similar slope and using a laying effect with the individual plants.

This is the first of 3 more images.
