I left yesterday afternoon to come down and referee at the USA Sevens despite being in that car accident.  I have told all parties and they are giving me the equivalent of light duties for international refereeing.  ie: Paperwork.
Dave and I arrived at midnight, had no one there to pick us up, the contact number for someone here went straight to voicemail and our cab driver was upset that we told him to go to the Holiday Inn Downtown. There are four Holiday Inns downtown. Needless to say, we have arrived and our now on our way to Petco Park for the walk around.
After the walk around Dave is helping refereeing the San Diego Rugby Festival.  I am going there as a coach to help the younger - more youthful referees.  In the mean time, Dave is giving me the evil eye saying lets go or we will be late!
